Packaged in a beautiful glass bottle, the limited edition Herbin 1670 Edition Anniversarie Ink commemorates the 340 anniversary of the company, the world's oldest producer of inks.
The deep blue ink with a golden shimmer recalls the sea voyages of J. Herbin to the Mughal Empire of India. In those days India was a primary supplier of indigo dye. Bleu Océan takes its inspiration from those adventurous journeys.
It comes in a 50 ml bottle, and the sealing wax is a good indication of the ink's colour. It is a fairly thick ink so we recommend giving the bottle a quick swirl before filling.
From the beginning, J. Herbin distinguished itself from its competitors by offering a wide range of colours for the fountain pen inks. The names chosen for each colour are very poetic to preserve the originality of the brand and as a French tradition.
J. Herbin is the oldest name in ink production in the world.
The ink comes in an ink bottle of 50 ml. This ink is pH-neutral and water based and can be used safely in fountain pens.
The ink is:
- Non-toxic
- pH neutral
- Lightfast
- Water based
- Uses all natural dyes
- Fast drying
Made in France by J Herbin.
