J. Herbin Ambre (Amber) - Scented Fountain Pen Ink

J Herbin is the oldest name in the pen inks world, dating right back to 1670. Today Herbin produces a range of beautifully made fountain pens, calligraphy inks and writing instruments.

The Scented Collection consists of high quality, free flowing ink in 30ml bottles with an integrated pen rest. Lightly scented, these inks are perfect for fountain pens since they are naturally scented and do not contain pigments. 

Scented inks are inspired by a tradition that began in Italy in the 19th century, and has now been revived by J Herbin with this collection of appealing bouquet of scented inks.

J. Herbin and other manufacturers used to collect different scents from the perfume industry in Grasse, France, a town that was famous for its floral scents. They would then add them to their inks.

This ink is orange scented.
